Here at Rainy Day we have a love for all things cozy. We mixed the three most warm and cuddly things 
we could think of (cats, coffee, and books) and turned it into our own cozy oasis. At Rainy Day you can order your favorite coffee, choose a gently used book, and settle down with one of our furry residents. Along with enjoying our cats company as you read and sip on your warm drink of choice, every cat is adoptable to a great home.
Brett and Emma Russell were both born in Amarillo, Texas. They met in 2018 and got married in 2023. Emma has had a heart for all animals, especially cats, her entire life. Before Brett met Emma, he had never owned a cat 
before. Emma unexpectedly brought home their first pet together, Franklin, in 2020. Brett became a cat lover from that moment on. The two of them have always dreamed of owning a small business, and when the opportunity came along to own a coffee shop the two decided to give it a unique twist including their other two loves, books and cats.
